Bussers are the key to a smoothly running operation. Bussers will help pre-bus active guest tables and are able to quickly reset tables that are finished.
Base rates for bussers run between $14.00 - $15.00 per hour and are a part of the of the tip pool. Bussers can expect to earn anywhere from $2 to $4 more per hour in tips. Combined, that's an average of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, combined depending on the day and shift you work!
Qualifications
Shows up on time as scheduled or proactively communicates when can't work.
Open work availability (preferred)
Pre-busses active guest tables
Flips or resets tables that are finished.
Knows the restaurant table layouts.
Able to obtain a TB test result (state of Hawaii requirement)
Food handlers card
18+ Years old preferred.
Bussers are responsible for:
Collecting dirty dishes as guests are done with them. Quickly resetting tables after guests have left the restaurant.
1 year of restaurant experience is required. Minimum 18 years of age or about to (or have) graduated high school, is required. Good communication, a high sense of urgency and positive attitude is a must.
Hourly tip amounts are an estimate as the restaurant is not actually open yet.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour combined based with tips.
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
