We are expanding and looking for a talented Cook & a Meat Cutter to join our team. Our shop specializes in serving delicious, hearty plate lunches made with fresh ingredients. We offer a laid-back, beachy vibe, and we need dedicated team members who are ready to bring their culinary skills to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cook:
Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of local, fresh plate lunches.
Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Ensure that the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures for food preparation and handling.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
As a Meat Cutter:
Cut, trim, and prepare meats (beef, chicken) for use in daily dishes.
Maintain proper storage of meat products, ensuring freshness and safety.
Follow safety guidelines when using cutting tools and equipment.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the right cuts and portions are prepared in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook and/or meat cutter, preferably in a fast-casual or restaurant environment (willing to train).
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Attention to detail with the ability to handle different cuts of meat and produce quality dishes.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
