Duties:
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
Assist in food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooks.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help other kitchen staff as needed.
Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a plus.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
