Join the bustling kitchen of The Crouching Lion, where culinary excellence meets exceptional service. We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. Your attention to detail and efficient work ethic will ensure that our culinary team has the necessary tools to deliver outstanding dishes to our guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly and efficiently, either by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness and functionality.
- Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
- Organize clean dishes and utensils for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Support the kitchen team by completing tasks as assigned during busy periods.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
