Position Summary
Fresh Dining Concepts is looking for talented and enthusiastic JAMBA GENERAL MANAGERS [GMs] to be part of our Jamba Hawaii ohana! A Jamba General Manager is responsible for the overall operations, guest experience, sales performance, and execution of brand excellence in a store. The Jamba General Manager is responsible for maximizing the sales and profits of the store and must maintain an exceptional level of guest service by developing strong store Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant GMs.
Position Tasks & Responsibilities
As a Jamba General Manager, you will be at the helm of delivering extraordinary consumer experiences and fostering a dynamic work environment. Your role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities; all directed towards elevating the guest experience and ensuring operational success:
Championing a culture of exceptional guest service, leading by example and inspiring your team.
Overseeing all aspects of Jamba operations, from food preparation to guest interactions.
Setting and achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost controls.
Mentoring, training, and developing a skilled and motivated team of team members.
Creating and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Addressing and resolving guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.
Collaborating with regional and corporate management to uphold brand standards.
Job Requirements & Physical Demands
The essential job functions are prolonged/stationary standing, walking, squatting, bending, and repetitive and constant hand/arm motions.
The ability to lift to 50+ pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment when dealing with systems/guests/staff.
Work with agility.
Assist in training and developing new hires.
Occasional long hours within the state and applicable federal laws.
Ability to write simple correspondence [In English].
Ability to effectively share information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, and other employees of the organization who only speak English for safety and communication purposes.
Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell.
Position Qualifications
Minimum age: 18 years old
High School diploma or commensurable experience required.
BA/BS degree in Business or related field preferred.
Experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment.
Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum of 2 years of successful management experience.
Direct P&L accountability.
Service, hospitality, or retail/restaurant experience preferred.
Must have experience supervising line, staff, and management positions.
Background in nutrition is highly desirable.
Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills, management skills, and financial acumen.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organization and planning skills.
Ability to apply sound judgment in the decision-making process and persuade others to do the right thing even when the decision is not popular.
Maintains professionalism and an optimistic attitude in all situations.
Is a self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility.
Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications (Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.).
License & Certifications
Reliable transportation.
Current ServSafe certification. If certification is not current, must pass ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment.
Food Handler Permit as required by local laws.
Compliance with all local Health Department requirements.
