Requires an organized individual in a fast paced environment to implement balanced and authentic Japanese and Pan Asian inspired menus and with ability to adjust and adapt to evolving local tastes. Ability to create sushi rolls, poke bowls with knowledge of Asian cooking techniques. Responsible for food preparation and cooking. Must be able to cook and prepare in small space. Efficient planning, coordination with applicable staff, developing menus, inventory management to ensure customer expectations of food, hygiene and quality standards are met within stated budgets. Food Handlers Card (within 30 days). Full Time. Min 2 year exp. Send CV and Cover Letter for review.

Maintaining consistent standards of traditional Asian Japanese inspired sushi/rolls/poke bowls, sauces and Asian cooking techniques with the ability to adapt and develop new modern and American influenced food trends relating to customer tastes.

Compliance with all mandated health and licensing by state and municipality.

Set up and breakdown of stock to maintain food truck.

Basic mathematical skills necessary to understand recipes, measurements and portion sizes.

Compliance with all mandated health and licensing by state and municipality.

Monitoring of quality standards.

Manage food inventory and assist chef with menu development.

Understands the cuisine and intricacies of Thai, Japanese, Pan Asian inspired cooking.

Prep vegetables and meat, wash and dry dishes, cups, and utensils, and stock new shipments.

Facilitates on-going kitchen management and coordination with current staff.

Ability to create traditional/Asian fusion Thai sauces/curries.

Oversee and maintain stock levels and ordering of new supplies.

Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition.

Preps and verifies that all menu items are executed according to our company quality standards 100% of the time.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.

Must be reliable and punctual.

Must be able to work well with others.

Min two of year’s experience.

Communication in English ( Thai would be helpful, but not required).
