Aloha! Juicy Brew is hiring!
Juicy Brew is a small, locally-owned vegan business that just celebrated its ten-year anniversary. We have two locations, and are currently hiring for our Kaimukī location.
We are looking for individuals with the following: (1) experience in food service; (2) a great attitude; (3) excellent communication skills; (4) the ability to work in an organized, clean, and efficient fashion; (5) and the ability to wear many hats– customer service, food prep, dishwasher, barista.
Ideally, we are seeking someone who is passionate about plant-based food and supporting local farmers. (You do not have to be vegan.) Because we are only open Thursday through Sunday, you would have to be available on the weekends.
We are not a traditional kitchen, and we have a very small, passionate crew. There is room for growth in terms of developing cooking and baking skills and learning to cook on the line. The Juicy Brew ethos has inspired former employees to get involved at the legislature, to go to law school, to be involved in environmental and animal advocacy and social justice. Writers, artists, farmers, activists, and a librarian and an engineer– Juicy Brew is proud to have such an inspiring collective of alumni.
