The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for delivering the ‘Magics Experience’ described above to our guests in the Magics Restaurant, Bar, and Beach Shack. This involves the managing and success of all guest experience, team member satisfaction, and financial responsibility, as well as the ability to prioritize a dynamic workload.
1. Creating Magics Culture by fostering a work environment that encourages people to act with integrity and treat each other and their ideas with respect and enthusiasm.
2. Execution of Magics Vision ‘We Do Good Things Great’. Identifies and emphasizes critical priorities to ensure time and energy are aligned to provide great experiences for all internal and external guests.
3. Proactively builds partnerships inside and outside Magics Ohana. Understanding how the full experience at Magics affects our guests, neighbors, and community by keeping socially, ethically, and financially responsible.
4. Instills the importance of guest satisfaction to all team members. Ability to make it right for guests under any circumstance with creativity and inspiration by proactivity recognizing expectations and needs.
5. Ability to coach and develop the strengths and abilities of the Magics Team. Provides constant feedback with instruction that clarifies information, expectation, and results during shift meetings and individually. Celebrates successes and uses them to motivate and encourage.
6. Participates in operationally sound business practices by ensuring proper staffing levels are met, supplies are readily available and in good working order, and our Ohana can enjoy a safe and sanitary Magics experience.
7. Conveys information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps relation and retention. Provides relative and creative information and insight to better the Magics experience.
8. Conveys a professional presence that commands attention and respect through appropriate body language, demeanor, attire, and self-confidence.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience.
2. Understanding of full-service restaurant operations and experience training others within that environment.
3. Administrative proficiency in word, excel, outlook, drop box, and related restaurant programs- Toast POS, MarketMan, OpenTable, 7Shifts.
4. Experience and aptitude to conduct and supervise inventory cycles, point of sale operations, team member scheduling, and business forecasting.
5. Up to date on current food and beverage trends and best practices
