Job Summary: Maintenance Utility Worker
The Centralized Engineering Services (CES) Maintenance Utility Worker is responsible for supporting the property and team by performing various essential duties. Assists with maintaining public and back-of-house areas, while providing excellent service with least amount of inconvenience to guests and employees.
Essential Duties
Communicate with supervisors and management to coordinate and facilitate daily duties.
Accomplish light maintenance items as needed in conjunction with Maintenance staff.
Utilize Preventive Maintenance Programs such as the Synergy or Transcendent programs.
Pick up and deliver parts from stores and vendors to CES’s various properties.
Ensure orders are complete and proper documentation is provided to the respective properties.
Safely load and secure merchandise in the delivery vehicle.
Properly maintain the vehicle(s) and take necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues.
Secondary Duties
Perform other duties as requested by management/supervisors.
Qualifications
Driver’s license and clean driving abstract required
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
Trade school and/or College coursework in related fields helpful.
Hospitality or customer service experience helpful.
Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
