Anaina Hou Community Park (AHCP) is a vibrant non-profit organization nestled in the heart of Kilauea on Kauai's north shore. Founded in 2010, AHCP was created to offer the local community a dynamic space dedicated to education and recreation. Welcoming over 50,000 families annually, our park boasts a range of attractions including Kauai Miniature Golf, Lanai, The Porter Pavilion, a beautifully designed playground, a Kauai Bus park and ride, and a weekly farmers' market. Position Title: Mini Golf & Lanai Hospitality Associate

Position Summary: Anaina Hou Community Park seeks a dedicated, customer-focused Mini Golf & Lanai Hospitality Associate to join our vibrant, community-centered environment. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of drinks at the Lanai, including espresso and shave ice, with additional bar service The Associate will also welcome and check in guests for our unique mini golf experience, providing an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.

Reports to:

-Supervisor: Upper Campus Manager

-Manager: CEO

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent customer service by preparing and serving Lanai beverages, light food items, and bar drinks.

Assist with guest check-in and orientation for mini golf.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Uphold Anaina Hou Community Park’s values as a welcoming, community-focused space.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and meet organizational goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

Valid Food Handlers Certificate (may be obtained upon hiring).

Strong verbal communication and customer interaction skills.

Passion for community engagement and a team-oriented mindset.

Ability to see the broader goals of Anaina Hou Community Park and its mission.

Preferred: Availability on weekends and evenings, with a valid Liquor Server Blue Card.

Physical Demands:

-Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.

-Bend, stoop, lift boxes, and push/pull carts as needed to manage stock and maintain service areas.

Miscellaneous:

-Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as operational needs may require.

-All staff must successfully complete a background check to be eligible for employment.

-Reliable transportation to Kilauea, HI 96754 is essential.

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time

Work Location: Onsite, Kilauea 96754

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Shift:

-8 hour shifts

-Day and Evening shifts

-Weekdays and Weekends

Compensation: Starting at $18.00 per hour, with salary commensurate with experience
