Pineapple Shack Kauai is a brand new business located at Kilohana Plantation. We are seeking a dedicated Window Server/Cashier to join our team and grow with the business. We will be serving Dole Soft Serve aka Dole Whip, cold brew coffee & hot coffee as well as cold beverages and fresh fruit. This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at Pineapple Shack Kauai.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take soft serve and beverage orders accurately
- Operate cash register and handle transactions with customers
- Prepare and serve coffee, cold brew and soft serve
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

Skills:
- Proficiency in using Square register for transactions
- Knowledge of restaurant operations
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
- Taylor soft serve machine knowledge or experience is a plus
- Barista experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a cafe or restaurant setting
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive ordering experience

Pay: Competitive pay depending on experience plus cash and credit card tips. Only 1 server per shift, so employee will collect all tips.
