Part-time | Up to 20 hrs/week | Monday & Wednesday evenings required

Do you love good food, helping people, and being part of vibrant community events? Anaina Hou Community Park is looking for an enthusiastic Events Server to join our friendly kitchen crew at the Porter Pavilion in beautiful Kilauea, Kauaʻi.

This role is all about creating memorable experiences—helping set up and serve delicious food, keeping our kitchen humming smoothly, and sharing aloha with every guest. Whether you’re serving at a concert under the stars or assisting with a community gathering, you’ll be part of something special.

What You’ll Do:

Help set up and break down food service areas for events and daily café operations

Serve food with warmth, professionalism, and great presentation

Chat with guests, answer questions, and make them feel welcome

Assist with light food prep (like slicing and portioning ingredients)

Keep dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas sparkling clean and organized

Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations

Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Friendly, reliable, and a great team player

Food service or hospitality experience preferred (but not required—we’ll train)

Good communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to follow directions and work well with staff, guests, and volunteers

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to get it within 30 days)

Reliable transportation to Kilauea

Schedule:

Part-time – Up to 20 hrs/week

Monday & Wednesday evenings required
