Position Overview
As a Prep Cook, you’ll be trained extensively to perform your duties efficiently and consistently. Your contributions will ensure a smooth kitchen operation and 100% guest satisfaction. Join a team that values quality, teamwork, and culinary excellence.
Responsibilities
-Prepare a variety of ingredients (meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, etc.) for cooking using various kitchen equipment.
-Ensure portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards are consistently met.
-Maintain clean and organized workstations and kitchen equipment.
-Follow recipe instructions to ensure quality, portion size, and consistency.
-Assist in food preparation during off-peak times and support team members when needed.
-Handle, store, and rotate products per Department of Health standards.
-Follow opening and closing kitchen checklists and attend scheduled employee meetings.
-Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Requirements
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
-Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
