KITCHEN SUPERVISOR POSITION SUMMARY:
Kitchen Supervisor’s main expectations will focus on raising the quality of (1.) the food in taste, presentation, efficiency in cooking regardless of business hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner), (2.) show strong leadership and teamwork within the kitchen and front of house, (3.) help raise guest satisfaction under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, (4.) cooperates with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to control food and labor costs. The Kitchen Supervisor will provide Chefs the timely and quality preparation of foods using a variety of equipment and utensils in an effort to continuously operate a highly regarded restaurant on a local and national level, and will also maintain the cooking environment clean and safe for all staff members and flexibly takes on various culinary tasks as they arise. The Kitchen Supervisor will receive instruction/guidance from the Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef and culinary management including the F&B Director. During operations, the Kitchen Supervisor will also be expected to follow instructions and cooperate with the restaurant Supervisor and or Manager.
