We are looking for additional Sous Chefs to join our team located at our Ritz-Carlton Waikiki Store!
The sous chef is responsible for all kitchen function areas of the store. Including but not limited to the following and as directed by Executive Chef, General Manager and President. Food purchasing, receiving, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness. Sous Chefs hires and trains staff and ensures everyone is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques. Sous Chefs ensure that the company's standards are upheld: the food looks good and is cooked properly, the proportions are correct, and it is cooked and served properly and in a timely manner. Sous Chefs also make sure that the kitchen is properly cleaned on a regular schedule, food is disposed of properly and the kitchen meets all sanitary standards. Sous Chefs keeps track of food cost, waste and employee hours, doing their best to optimize profit for company. The Sous Chef motivates and inspires all team members to achieve store productivity goals.

Ideal candidates are highly motivated team players with positive attitudes. Our team is passionate about food and coffee, creating great products for our customers. Must be able to lift 25-30lbs, stand for the duration of the shift, handle physical repetitive motions, and work in hot and cold environments.
