The Environmental Protection & Sustainability (EP&S) Division is seeking a Recycling Specialist II to join the Environmental Programming Section.
Although the title is Recycling Specialist II, this role actually is within the broader field of sustainability—including public education, community outreach, environmental policy, legislative enforcement, and impactful fieldwork across Maui County. Great benefits too!
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist with the development, implementation, and coordination of countywide environmental protection and sustainability programs
✅ Support grant programs and demonstration projects
✅ Drive community outreach initiatives and educational campaigns
✅ Participate in enforcement efforts to uphold environmental policies
