We are Honolulu Periodontics and Implants. We are a growing practice looking to add a Dental Assistant to our team. In this position you will be working directly with our dentists to assist them in routine check ups and procedures related to gum health and dental implants. You will also be largely focused on prepatory tasks such as instrument sterilization, set up and break down of surgical rooms, management of essential inventory and patient care.
To be successful in this position you will be required to have at least 1 year of relevant dental assisting experience. Good verbal communication skills are required to effectively explain and communicate with patients and doctors. Must provide three personal references as well as previous employment history which will be verified. Must be flexible to adapt to the training of our office and clinical style as well as our practice computer software.
This hourly wage position is based upon level of competence and experience. Currently looking to fill our opening for a part time team member, with opportunity to acquire more hours based on satisfactory performance. Hours at this moment will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
