Caregiver (Makawao)

compensation: $25/hour cash | no experience necessary
Looking for a compassionate and clear communicator caregiver for a 74 year old male quadraplegic for 5 (five) hours a day 5 (five) days a week (weekend help is also needed if possible). Hours are somewhat flexible within 8:00AM and 4:00PM timeframe and must include the lunch hour. The location is upcountry, Makawao.
Tasks include:
. Assisting with phone calls and taking notes if necessary
. Preparing lunch, giving meds, feeding and cleaning up
. Ostomy care (releasing air, emptying and changing)
. Emptying catheter (pee) bag
. Taking care of a healing wound on the back side and changing sheets and chucks (pads) at the same time.
. Assisting in range of motion exercises on legs and arms.
