Looking for a Home Helper/Personal Care Aide in the Diamond Head/Kahala area of Honolulu to assist a man in his 60s with young-onset Alzheimer's, as his supportive family requires additional care support.
Comfortable work environment. Must be okay with two indoor cats; however, no pet care is required.
Duties include personal care, prep/cooking meals, light housecleaning, companionship, and engage in activities.
The preferred days for employment are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Application for employment and interview will be required, as well as providing own transportation. Other requirements include background and drug screening, initial TB and annual screenings, proof of auto insurance (if a driver), along with the necessary IDs for employment. Candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds and ambulate without limitations.
This position is for a W-2 employee. If eligible, benefits, such as PTO and health insurance, are offered.
