The IVF Nurse Coordinator position is a full-time role focused on providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients undergoing In Vitro Fertilization treatments. The IVF Nurse Coordinator will collaborate closely with physicians to manage patient care plans, educate patients about procedures, and offer emotional support throughout their fertility journey.
Responsibilities
Meet with patients to coordinate upcoming treatment plans for IVF and FET cycles, including review of requirements, calendars, and medications.
Educate patients on IVF procedures, treatment protocols, medication, and injections.
Communicate with physicians any patient-related issues, ultrasound findings, and lab results.
Schedule patients as needed to ensure completion of requirements for planned treatments.
Provide telephone calls/triage to patients informing them of lab results.
Document office visits, telephone calls, emails, and lab results in a timely manner.
Prepare/Recover patients that undergo procedures including Oocyte retrieval and Embryo Transfer.
Provide compassion and emotional support and counseling to patients throughout the IVF experience.
Other duties as assigned.
