Koa Labs is a cutting-edge toxicology laboratory nestled in the heart of West Oahu. Our state of the art facility is a multi-discipline clinical laboratory center performing Clinical Toxicology, Clinical drug testing, and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, We serve accounts in Hawaii who are treating patients for various addiction treatments.
The Specimen Collectors role is an entry level position. You will be working at various treatment centers on Kauai island. You will have interaction with the account staff member's and their in-coming patients who are being required to provide a urine drug test or saliva fluid specimen. Duties include:
Collecting patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens
Accurately processing and packaging these urine and/or oral fluid specimens for shipping
Record and transfer patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information into our electronic system
Collection medical insurance information from patients.
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys interacting with clinic staff, and patients
Attention to detail for data entry
Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with clinic staff, patients, field managers and home office.
Complete all required training during onboarding and ongoing active employment
