Hawaii Shoulder & Orthopedic Institute is looking for a reliable and compassionate Clinic Assistant to support our orthopedic team in delivering excellent patient care. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working hands-on in a friendly, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling new and follow-up appointments
Greeting patients and creating a welcoming experience
Collecting detailed health histories
Recording vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, temperature)
Assisting with minor clinical tasks (e.g., removing stitches, applying bandages)
Supporting patients during minimally invasive procedures
Cleaning and sterilizing rooms and medical equipment
Handling insurance communications and patient billing
Managing inventory and ordering supplies
Assisting with prescription refill requests
Maintaining a clean and organized office
Prioritizing phone messages for the physician
Qualifications:
Prior clinical or administrative experience in a medical setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Able to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure
Comfortable handling both clinical and administrative tasks
