Job Summary:
Po'ailani, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Assistant, with flexible hours in a pleasant community setting.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma
Nursing assistant experience preferred. Willing to train.
Must pass criminal background check
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Services provided by the Nursing Assistant include but are not limited to the following:
Working with individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorders in a Licensed Dual Diagnosis Residential Treatment program.
Assisting the Registered Nurse in assessing patients’ medical and psychiatric needs.
Assisting the Registered Nurse in referrals to community providers as needed.
Assisting the Registered Nurse with storage, reordering and management of medications monitored for patients onsite.
Efficient computer skills a must in addition to having experience with Word and Excel programs.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are needed as this position requires working collaboratively with the Registered Nurse at different residential sites.
Other duties as necessary.
On-going training is provided.
