BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Special Needs Caregiver who enjoys working 1:1 in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with autism, intellectual, or developmental disabilities.

Paid Apprentice Program: No experience required – We are committed to investing in nurturing in our team member’s desire to grow professionally and make a difference in their community.

Relatable Experience: Caring for a family member, Direct Support Professional, Habilitation Technician, Personal Care Aide, Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Nurse’s Aide, Caregiver.

How you'll make an impact:

Accompany clients on errands and appointments

Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities

Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation

Participate in community integration activities

Provide personal care assistance as needed

Compensation and Schedule:

Weekly Pay; $17 and up based on experience

Flexible scheduling

Short commute times (we try to match opportunities near your home)

Mileage Reimbursement

Qualifications:

One year experience working with clients with intellectual and development disabilities preferred but not required (paid training provided)

High school diploma or equivalent
