Our company is growing and our Kailua Kona office on Hawaii Island is currently looking for a Pest Control Technician
Position Overview:
Laborer | Fumigation Technician
The Laborer | Fumigation Technician is responsible for delivering safe and effective treatment methods, primarily utilizing Vikane Gas, to our clients' homes and businesses. The responsibilities encompass preparing the locations, by treating them with appropriate materials, ensuring safe reentry, and safely dismantling and cleaning all equipment before departure. Comprehensive training will be provided on the materials, techniques, and tasks involved, with the expectation that the technician will work towards obtaining the HDOA Commercial 7a Fumigation License. Technicians are also required to strictly adhere to all label and SDS instructions as well as OSHA, FDA, EPA, FIFRA, HDOA and Aloha Termite & Pest safety rules regulations and laws of the State of Hawaii and the United States as it pertains to the use and treatment of these materials.
Responsibilities:
Properly handle fumigation objects, such as tarps, sand snakes, water snakes, pins, bottles, cords, ropes, and other items required for the tasks assigned.

Commitment to provide customers’ homes, businesses and properties with respect at all times
Maintain professionalism in words, deed, action, appearance, and manner
Communicate effectively, be a good listener, and work as a productive team member
Recognize and prioritize safety as a personal responsibility, using provided Personal Protective Equipment
Ability to read and fully understand product labels and SDS sheets.
Responsibilities:
Must pass drug test and criminal background
Must be on island and able to commute to Kailua Kona
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 200 lbs +/-
Ability to climb ladders, balance, lift, stand, and drive for long periods of time
Availability to be flexible when needed- working late evenings and Saturdays.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Additional Details
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (weekends as needed) 6:00 am - until the job is done
Compensation: $20.00-$36.00 Hrly – Pay is based on experience, certifications, licenses and qualifications
