We are looking for a new member for our wash bay team. Someone detail oriented, a keen eye for cleanliness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst providing customer service when needed. While you do not need to have formal training, we do prefer you to have some professional cleaning experience, preferably with vehicles. Mechanical experience is also a plus, including how to change essential fluids and inflate automotive tires. We are looking for a thorough, responsible car wash attendant who will adhere to provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers. You will clean vehicles as they return according to company standards, which may include performing detailed inspections, thoroughly washing exteriors, vacuuming, sanitizing and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records on the condition of the vehicle as needed. The wash bay team is responsible for the cleanliness and safety of our vehicles to ensure the customers are satisfied with our cars by using the correct products and the correct procedures.
Finally, WhatsApp is the primary communication between the team; members must be attentive to their phones to communicate between wash bay and front desk.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize vehicle interior and exteriors in compliance with company standards
Operating hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations
Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes
Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
Check vehicle’s liquids, like oil, coolant, and windshield
Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations for reservations, as needed
Managing inventory and reordering supplies in the wash bay
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
Consistently communicate with team through WhatsApp
Additional Responsibilities:
Help perform walk-arounds with the customer to mark all damages on the car if needed
Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Availability to work weekends and holidays
