We are seeking motivated, reliable, and energetic individuals with janitorial experience to join our housekeeping team for the purpose of creating and maintaining a satisfactory experience for our valued members.
Position Summary
The Housekeeper may perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the appearance and sanitation. Duties will vary according to operational needs; however, the basic tasks and skills required to perform the job—specified below—remain the same.
Essential Functions & Tasks
Maintains a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for members.
Clearly communicates with the Housekeeping Manager and other members of the team to coordinate duties.
Participates in day-to-day cleaning activities, which include but are not limited to:
o washing, folding, and distributing towels,
o wiping down fitness machines,
o washing windows,
o vacuuming carpets,
o removing trash,
o re-filling amenities such as soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc.
Maintains regular and consistent punctuality and attendance.
Maintains and models a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or special events.
Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be available to work any shift, day or night.
Must be reliable and punctual, as timeliness is key to the housekeeping team’s success.
Must be able to communicate with the Housekeeping Manager and other members of the housekeeping team clearly and accurately.
Must be able to work in a pair or a small group to complete cleaning tasks.
Must have a sharp eye for detail and be quick to address issues.
Must be able to lift or move 20-25 pounds.
Preferred Experience
Previous housekeeping experience.
High School diploma preferred.
