Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their dining experience.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu items, including coffee selections and food options.
Anticipate guest needs and ensure their satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests.
3. Food Service Support:
Assist in food preparation and plating as needed, ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to guests' tables.
Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Product Knowledge and Upselling:
Develop a deep understanding of the coffee farm's products, including various coffee blends, single-origin beans, and retail merchandise.
Actively promote additional menu items, seasonal specials, and retail products to increase sales and enhance the overall guest experience.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and a positive work environment.
Communicate effectively and proactively assist teammates during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, food handling protocols, and cleanliness standards.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, including wearing the provided uniform and name tag.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or food service role, preferably in a restaurant or café setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
