We’re hiring a part-time gardener to join our eco-conscious retreat and organic farm in East Maui. This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors on a beautiful cliffside property surrounded by tropical gardens, food forests, and a peaceful retreat atmosphere.
Start part-time, with potential for full-time and benefits once you’re established.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Mowing, weeding, planting, mulching, pruning
- Harvesting fruit trees (orange, lime, ulu, moringa, etc.)
- Growing mushrooms
- Organic fertilizing and composting
- Caring for tools and reporting irrigation or lighting issues
- Occasional light animal care (chickens, ducks, goats)
✅ Requirements:
- Gardening or landscaping experience (preferably in tropical environments)
- Willing to work with electrically charged landscaping equipment
- Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
- Non-smoker with tidy appearance
- Able to work in rain, sun, and rugged terrain
- Communicative and detail-oriented
