Overview:
West Maui Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. This role requires expertise in diesel and hydraulic systems, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 years minimum experience as a mechanic, preferably with heavy equipment.
Proficiency in diesel and hydraulic systems.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Kenworth, Peterbilt, CAT, and John Deere equipment.
Welding and fabrication skills preferred but not required.
Valid CDL or willingness to obtain (paid for by the company) preferred but not required.
Own tools.
