At Kahuhipa Land Management, we provide site maintenance services and support sustainable agricultural at some of Hawaii's largest clean energy (solar) projects
Primary Responsibilities:
- With minimal supervision, management and execution of vegetation management. Duties include: mowing using tractors, various pull-behind cutters, zeroturn mowers, and weedwackers. Operate RTV and perform spot spraying of herbicides.
- Perform maintenance of equipment
- Periodically repair roads, fences, and gates
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Perform other duties as required
Ability to:
- Safely operate agricultural and landscaping equipment
- Read and understand service manuals
- Perform maintenance using various hand and power tools, occasionally under equipment
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Lift up to 50 lbs
Working Conditions:
- Outdoors in various weather conditions
- Requires travel to various sites across Oahu
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or have a GED
- Valid Driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tractor and/or landscape experience
- Maintenance experience
