Landscape and Construction assistant staff needed for Property Developer to help maintain residential development, including existing yard care in the Moanalua Valley area, Oahu. Work includes basic landscape installation, light carpentry assistance, light painting, rock walls assistance, weed whacking, trimming/pruning, drip irrigation installation, ground maintenance, including operating hand held power tools and general landscape work. Can Train, full time, good benefits, including medical insurance and 401k options.
Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
Commitment and desire to learn landscaping and basic carpentry skills through hard work and experience;
Willingness and ability to perform all required duties and additional duties as needed and directed.
Able to follow written and oral instructions
Able to work Monday through Friday, and be punctual: Work 8 Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. (hours are somewhat flexible)
Have own transportation to site.
Able to use, with training, required hand and power tools, equipment to prepare and install/maintain landscape materials
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, Able to climb stairs and work outside on steep hillsides
Able to kneel for extended periods of time;
High school diploma or equivalent;
Must be able to pass Drug Test
