Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves managing a team of landscapers, ensuring the highest quality of service, and fostering client relationships.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, responsible, trustworthy, hard-working and a great communicator. Must be able to operate commercial equipment including mowers, trimmers & blowers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage landscape maintenance crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members, promoting a positive work environment and professional growth.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all tools and machinery are in good working condition.
- Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly landscaping practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, pest control, and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) or similar certification is a plus.
-Irrigation, hardscape and/or construction experience is a plus.
