Hawaii Networks Inc is looking for dependable Low Voltage Technicians to join our team. Candidates should have basic knowledge of low voltage systems and data cabling. Experience is preferred but not required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test data and low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.)
Assist with installing devices such as network jacks, patch panels, and cable trays, and low voltage devices
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Requirements:
Basic understanding of low voltage/data systems
Ability to use hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work on ladders and lift 50+ lbs
Valid driver’s license preferred
Education and Certifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Certification in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, or related field is preferred, but not required.
Working Conditions:
1. This role may require working in various indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sites, data centers, office buildings, and customer premises.
2. May involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as using tools and equipment to perform job duties.
3. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate project deadlines and client requirements.
