Maintenance-General
High Rise 45-story Mixed-Use Condominium with 745 units located in Waikiki. The individual is expected to have a wide range of skills and knowledge of all building systems to include, but not limited to, plumbing, painting, carpentry, roofing, electrical, HVAC systems, etc. The job also includes maintaining and cleaning outdoor facilities including the pool, outdoor showers, BBQ’s, furniture, etc. as assigned by the Operations Manager/Supervisor. Some tasks may overlap that of the Groundskeeper and the Utility Departments and may act as the backup for these positions. The Maintenance-General position must represent the AOAO/property in a friendly and professional manner to owners, residents, tenants, visitors, guests, fellow staff, vendors, and contractors while on duty at all times.
Position requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and follow oral and written directions in English.
Ability to work outdoors and on top of ladders.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull 100 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, reach overhead.
Have knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electricity.
Have knowledge of landscape maintenance.
Have knowledge of pool maintenance.
Ability to use power tools and equipment.
Have a positive, service-oriented attitude towards residents.
Must be professional, honest, responsible, and reliable.
Scope and Compensation Package:
40 hours per week.
Starting at $18.00 per hour. Based on level of experience.
Two weeks paid vacation after one year of employment.
