We are seeking a Maintenance Person for the Kona Bali Kai and the Kona Reef Hotel, located in beautiful Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
SUMMARY
Able to repair, maintain, and refurbish the facilities and its furnishings in an independent manner with minimal supervision.
Able to carry out assigned tasks in an efficient and thorough manner in accordance with quality standards as set forth by management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Able to utilize materials and supplies in an economical manner, and report needs to supervisor.
Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to supervisor.
Complete daily trouble reports and timesheets in an accurate and understandable manner.
Responsible for the safe use and operation of all tools and materials associated with the tasks related to this position.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language
Must be able available to work on any day of the week and shift
Must be able to complete work timely and accurately with attention to detail
Be an honest & caring person
REQUIREMENTS
Able to work and communicate with other employees, guests, and owners in a pleasant and efficient manner.
Available for work schedule including weekend & holidays.
Perform all other duties as required by management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. On the job training is provided.
