Maintenance Technician - Vacation Rental Management
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for property maintenance and technical support? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional property care and guest services. This full-time position offers a dynamic environment with a mix of hands-on tasks and coordination with a supportive team.
Examples of duties and responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance & technical support (wifi, TV & cable troubleshooting for guests), smart home system support (battery changing, etc.).
- Regularly scheduled meetings with G.M./Team for coordination (approx 30min per week)
- Interface with property care system (breezeway) to receive, schedule and complete property care tasks, per company guidelines.
- Projects / small tasks – organization of office, tracking inventory in office, restocking from local stores, etc.
- Guest services on call – drop off items (keys, small items, etc.) during shift hours, as overflow for inspection & cleaning staff.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- 40 hours per week – 5 x 8 hour shifts. One weekend day worked one off.
- Must complete minimum of 2.5 hours of billable maintenance work per 8 hour shift (average).
- Must have access to a computer/mobile device with reliable internet connection for effectiveness reliable completion of tasks.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own transportation to office & managed properties.
- Position located on the south side (Poipu/Kalaheo); commuters from the east side or west side will have to be able to be in the Poipu/Kalaheo area for their entire shift each day.
