Painter Helper Job Duties:
Assist painters with various duties.
Clean up work areas before and after jobs.
Apply protective coverings on furniture.
Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers.
Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures and landscaping.
Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an efficient, timely manner.
Painter Job Duties:
Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms or other structures including primers or sealers.
Assembling scaffolding as required.
Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers.
Requires flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the project.
Foreman Job Duties:
Responsible for supervising staff painters helpers, painters, communicating daily tasks and monitoring painting techniques.
Coordinates work with contractors; inspects facilities for needed maintenance, trains others in painting methods and techniques and reviews work for compliance with standards.
Maintains records and reports of material labor and time costs. Requisitions supplies and equipment; maintains check on material requirements; estimates amount of material necessary and maintain records and submits reports.
