Pool Attendant (Military Base - Ft. Shafter)
Type of position: Temp to hire
Pay Rate: $16.00
Schedule: Schedule days varies Tuesday through Sunday, (if a Holiday lands on Monday, then you will work on the Monday and be off on Tuesday because pool will be closed) Hours varies but generally 10am-4pm or 12pm-6pm shifts are rotated each week
Job Description:
Do you have a valid driver's license and a vehicle with valid paperwork? We are looking for qualified candidates to help with Pool Attendant duties on the military bases. Job duties are listed below:
Essential Functions:
Visually inspect each area of the pool to include the water lines around the pool and notify the Owner if adjustments are needed.
Remove debris in or around the pool area.
Check and empty skimmer baskets.
Check and record pH and chlorine levels and notify the Owner if adjustments are needed.
Straighten up all lounge chairs and tables and open umbrellas.
Check the cleanliness of the bathrooms and changing areas. Wipe down sinks, toilet surfaces, and tabletops (use protective gloves).
Refill toilet tissue, hand towels, and hand soap as needed. Continue to monitor supplies throughout the day and restock, as necessary.
Skim tops of main and wading pools of debris.
Check all lights both interior and exterior of the facility.
Police all areas to include landscaped areas for rubbish and debris.
Empty all trashcans into the Owner-provided dumpster. Replace bags as needed.
Visually inspect all areas of the swimming pool to ensure that all lights are off, doors are secured to include street facing doors of pump room and supply room and ensure no fire or safety hazards exist.
Store daily logs, sign-in sheets, and equipment in the storage room and/or filing cabinet.
Straighten up all lounge chairs and umbrella tables. Secure umbrellas.
Check the cleanliness of the bathroom and changing areas. Wipe down as needed.
Rake beach area and bottom as needed and sweep all overflow sand off deck areas.
Police all areas to include landscaped areas for rubbish and debris.
Secure all doors and gates.
Job Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable vehicle with registration, safety and insurance
Acceptable drivers abstract
GED or HS Diploma
Attention to detail
Be able to communicate clearly
