Tropical Dreams Ice Cream Company is currently looking for two employees. We are a family based operating company. We are looking for determined individuals to fill these positions. The first position offered is a full-time Ice Cream Maker and other is a full-time Delivery Driver. It is a hard-working job there will be a lot of lifting, bending, and standing for 8 hours or more. You will be working as a team and at some points individually. Be that as it may, there will be a 90-day probation period which will be discussed furthermore in an interview based on expectations and experience. Pay will also be discussed in the second interview not over the phone. We are a competitive pay-rate based company.

Job Title Ice Cream Maker:
Department Production and Distribution
Reports To Production Supervisor
Classification Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Position Summary:
Ice Cream Makers measure, mix, prepare and freeze ingredients to make frozen dessert. Frozen
product is then scooped, labeled, and stored. Cleaning and maintaining production equipment
and the facility is an important task in this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Measure, mix, and freeze ingredients according to the company recipes
Scoop, label, and store product
Stock Cups and Lids pre-production
Prepare ingredients, such as baked goods
Clean equipment and utensils and dishes
Maintain all required food handling certifications, and related documents
Maintain accurate logs of production records, and sanitation, and lot numbers
Assist in preparing palletized ice cream shipments
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall team operations
Required Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications include:
High school diploma is preferred but not required.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
Ability to adapt to a fast-moving company where extra tasks routinely assigned
Working Conditions:
Ice cream makers work primarily indoors including walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and
converse with employees, maintain a stationary position (standing and sitting), move/traverse,
kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time. Employ must be able to
lift and carry 25 pounds.
Direct Reports:
The ice cream makers are to report to Production Supervisor.

Position Summary:
The Delivery Driver position is expected to work in shipping and receiving operations. This job
will primarily consist of local vehicle operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving
operations
Perform excellent customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Move products up to 25 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into trucks
Operate all materials handling equipment
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety
programs
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve overall team operations
Required Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications include:
Current Hawaii driver’s license (CDL not required)
Ability to operate trucks over 4 tons in weight
Professional and reliable
Experience in high endurance or highly physical activity or role, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, landscaping, etc.
Working Conditions:
The Delivery Driver position is required to work indoors and outdoors, including walk-in
refrigerators and freezers.
