Regenerative Farming to Support Lahaina

Are you a Maui local or someone who has been impacted by last year's fires, looking for well-paid, meaningful work that will connect you to our beautiful land and wonderful people?

Consider joining us at Regenerative Education Centers (REC), a non-profit regenerative agriculture farm across from the surf break in Olowalu, where we grow kalo (taro), squash, banana, mango, coconut, papaya, greens, eggplant, and all sorts of other fruits and vegetables while using no fertilizers, pesticides, or other chemical additives.

Our team is tight-knit and supportive of one another. Every one of us has been directly impacted by the fires, in one way or another, and we have found hope and healing by working together to provide free homesteads and organic food to survivors. The work we are doing is helping to mālama our āina, which is a core value for every one of us. We also care for one another, taking breaks as needed and sharing in fresh-cooked, family-style meals on a regular basis.

Positions are full-time at our farm in Olowalu and come with full benefits. You will be paid weekly through a grant we have received from Maui Economic Opportunity (MEO). To qualify for the position, you must have lived on Maui since before the fire and be currently un- or under-employed.
