Warehouse Helper with Forklift Experience
Schedule:
Start Time - 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday may vary depending on schedules
Payrate: $18/hr.
Essential Duties:
1. Maintain trucks, warehouse, and facility cleanliness by using tools such as a broom, dustpan, and
pallet jacks as necessary; keeping work area clear of debris or objects that could be a safety
hazard
2. Safely load and unload trucks of equipment and material independently with some supervision.
3. Independently build new and repair used lift-vans at an efficient pace, with some supervision
4. Safely and effectively follow established procedures and handling for unloading containers of
general freight, household goods, furniture, and store fixtures, with some supervision
5. With some supervision follow administrative processes for paperwork completion like
inventories/manifests and notating exceptions (overage, shortage, and damages).
6. Assist drivers with deliveries on the road which includes tracking freight / household good, office
supplies & equipment, placing such items in designated areas – identified by a supervisor or
client
7. Safely load and unload various types of materials from containers to and from terminal floor,
which involves lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling, palletizing, shrink wrapping and/or operating
a forklift with some supervision
8. Assist with checking in new paint inventory, placing new paint inventory on racks, pulling paint
orders, and applying paint tint
9. Effectively follow instructions from Dispatch Supervisor or Senior Warehouseman or Senior Driver
and adheres to all company policies and safety rules
10. Demonstrate appropriate self-motivation and consistent initiative, while being proactive and
working at an efficient work pace
11. Consistently wear company-approved uniform, including any required personal protective
equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and professional appearance
12. Have a basic understanding of the safety protocols while working on dock and when at various
jobsites
13. Have a clear understanding of all Company House Rules and Safety Requirements and
effectively complies with all terms whenever on duty
14. Manual labor as assigned

Qualifications: (R) Required or (P) Preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years related business experience (P)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (R)
- Skills: Fluency in English (oral and written) (R)
- Effective oral and written communication (R)
- Forklift and electric pallet jack Experience (R)
- Ability to listen and follow instructions (R)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (R)
- Good attendance and dependability (P)
- Detail Oriented (P)
- Teamwork (P)
