Work-trade opportunity is available starting mid-August. Worker must feed and water horses and goats, clean pens, and unload feed. Also, some work in the garden is required. We are looking for someone who is longer-term and already living in the state.
Housing is a clean, spacious, fully furnished studio. Included are laundry, all utilities, and a conventional bathroom with a shower. Perks include products from chickens, goats, and the gardens when available.
We are located in Ka'u between Pahala and Naalehu, close to beaches. This is not a community living situation, so you must be comfortable living in a rural area and experiencing some isolation. You will be required to have a vehicle, have health insurance, and references.
We ask for a self-motivated, physically fit, upbeat person who keeps their agreements. No drinking or drama, as you will be working around livestock. If interested, email me information about yourself.
