Litigation department of Honolulu boutique law firm that has served Hawaii for more than 25 years seeks a talented, conscientious associate. Practice areas include maritime defense and insurance, insurance coverage, commercial, products liability, and insurance defense litigation in both state and federal courts. Candidate must have 2 to 4 years' experience, strong academic credentials and well-developed research and writing skills. Will have direct client contact, so strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook a plus. Expected to work independently, but in a team-based environment. Candidates must already be licensed to practice in the state of Hawaii or waiting for bar results at time of application.
