Position Overview:
As our Fashion Design Assistant to our founder, you will work closely with the design team to support day-to-day tasks, while also managing the brand's online presence across various social media platforms. You will play a key role in creating visually appealing content, engaging our audience, and helping manage the brand’s online store through Shopify.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Assistant Responsibilities:
Create monthly mood boards, sketching designs, and coming up with social media campaigns.
Organize and maintain design files, fabric swatches, and samples.
Assist in preparing design canva invites, social media posts, and presentations.
Manage our sample orders and production timelines with our manufacturers.
Social Media Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and execute monthly social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and growth across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other platforms.
Create visually stunning social media posts, stories, and campaigns using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Manage the day-to-day posting, content calendar, and social media community engagement.
Track social media analytics and use insights to optimize strategies and content.
Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to promote products.
E-commerce Responsibilities (Shopify):
Assist in updating product listings, uploading new collections, and ensuring the Shopify store is optimized and user-friendly.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the design team to ensure product availability.
Help with promotions, seasonal sales, and marketing strategies on Shopify.
Assist in customer service inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns.
Qualifications:
Experience in fashion design, fashion merchandising, or a related field.
Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce management.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Creative mindset with a passion for fashion and social media.
Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
Bonus Points:
Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
Knowledge of photography and video editing.
Previous experience working in the fashion industry or in a creative role.
