About the Role
We are a growing commercial laundry operation serving hotels, property managers, and care facilities across Oʻahu. We are seeking a hands-on Working Supervisor to help lead daily production while working with management and side-by-side with the team on the floor. This is an active leadership role. Think of it as the “lead from the front” position—not an office job.
What You’ll Do
Production & Floor Leadership
Work directly in daily production: sorting, washing, drying, folding, and staging linen
Set the pace on the production floor and help keep orders moving efficiently
Monitor workflows and adjust priorities to meet service and delivery needs
Report daily and weekly production and progress to Operations Manager and President
Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedule and warehouse safety protocols
Supervision & Training
Lead and support a small production team of 3-5 teammates.
Train new employees on procedures, safety practices, and quality standards
Address issues in real time and keep the team focused and productive
Quality, Safety & Organization
Perform spot checks on finished laundry for cleanliness and presentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Identify equipment or facility issues and communicate them to management
Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with management and drivers regarding production status
Assist with basic daily tracking (loads, poundage, completion status)
Schedule & Availability
Flexible schedule required
Shifts may start early morning, afternoon, or swing shift, depending on operational needs
Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) may be required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in laundry, hotel housekeeping, warehouse, or production environments preferred
Prior lead or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
Able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a warm environment
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable leading by example
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Authorized to work in the U.S.
