Arc of Hilo is seeking full-time and part-time Community Support workers for adults with developmental disabilities! $17 per hour to start.
Hours are varied, with some variation based on the participant and your availability.
Community Support is just that, we're at the Arc's Adult Day Health center, or we're out in the community, helping the participant access various community resources, whether that is going to the zoo, or a doctor's appointment, or grocery shopping, or the beach, or joining an activity here at the Arc, or endless other possibilities.
Requirements for this support position: clean driving record, a vehicle, car insurance, pass a background check, CPR/First Aid (we will help arrange and pay for), and a TB test (we will arrange and pay for). Paid training and .67 cents per mile reimbursement when using your vehicle.
