THE ARC IN HAWAII IS HIRING
The Arc in Hawaii is a non-profit organization with deep roots in Hawaii. We provide both residential and day services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID) on Oahu. Our mission, in part, is to support the rights of individuals with ID to be included and fully participate in their respective communities throughout their lifetime.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS for our homes and center provide direct services to our participants, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, under the direction of a home or center manager at the following ARC locations:
40hrs/week: Honolulu ADH Center - Mon thru Fri 7am-3pm
40hrs/week: Pearl City ADH Center - Mon thru Fri 6:00, 6:30-2:00, 2:30pm
40hrs/week: Wahiawa ADH Center - Mon thru Fri 7:30am-3:30pm
24hrs/week: Kaimuki A Home - Sat and Sun 7am-7pm
40hrs/week: Kaimuki B Home - Mon thru Thu 3-11pm
40hrs/week: Kaimuki B Home - Mon thru Fri 11pm-7am (overnight-no sleep)
24hrs/week: 6th Ave A Home - Sat and Sun 7am-7pm
24hrs/week: 6th Ave B Home - Sat and Sun 7am-7pm
40hrs/week: Ewa A Home - Mon and Fri 3-11pm and Sat and Sun 11am-11pm (shift may be separated; please inquire)
24hrs/week: Ewa A Home - Sat and Sun 7am-7pm
25hrs/week: Ewa B Home - Mon thru Fri 3-8pm
40hrs/week: Kamehame Home (Hawaii Kai area) - Mon thru Fri 1:30-9:30pm
27hrs/week: Lusitana C Home (Punchbowl area) - Sat 6am-9pm and Sun 10:30am-10:30pm
24hrs/week: Lusitana C Home - Fri 10pm-9am and; Sat 9pm-10am (overnight-no sleep)
Hourly pay rate: $13.52
(Note: There may be flexibility with the scheduled weekend days above. Please inquire).
RELIEF DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS will be used primarily as replacements for employees who are out due to sickness, injury, vacation, leave of absence, etc. These positions have no set schedule or set days off as they may change from week to week depending on the location they are sent to. He or she may be assigned to work anywhere in Oahu within the company.
Full time 37.540hrs/week: Location and schedule varies
Hourly pay rate: $14.73$16.37 + $200.00 monthly travel stipend
LEAD DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS at the PEARL CITY and WAHIAWA CENTER provide direct services to clients and supervision of the implementation, monitoring, and modification of the participant's treatment programs following the IPP or ISP; Supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals; Provide direction in the areas of normalization principle, integration, safety and protection, individual rights and responsibilities and other areas deemed appropriate by the interdisciplinary team. One (1) year volunteer or work experience assisting persons w/intellectual or developmental disabilities and six (6) months supervisory experience required.
Full time: Mon thru Fri - 7:30am-3:30pm
Hourly pay rate: TBD
ICF CASE WORKER will ensure that home managers are properly managing, training, and supervising their staff in caring for and providing the participants with a safe, protective, and normal environment that allows for growth and development . This full time position has a flexible work shift and must be available to respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour, 7-day per week basis. Bachelor's degree in special education, social sciences, human services, or other related fields from an accredited college or university, minimum 1 year experience working with and case work experience with adults with special needs required.
Full time: Monday thru Friday in addition to a flexible work shift
Annual salary rate: $TBD (commensurate with experience)
