Overview
The Kitchen Operations Coordinator focuses on inventory management, purchasing, and financial aspects of kitchen operations. You will also be responsible for hot meal deliveries 3 times per week.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory and Purchasing
1. Conduct regular shopping trips to the Maui Food Bank and Costco for supplies
2. Place and manage orders for local harvests (weekly on Wednesday nights)
3. Coordinate to obtain produce from Local Harvest on Saturdays
4. Purchase miscellaneous items online as needed
5. Purchase necessary supplies urgently needed in person and manage expense reports for reimbursement
6 Refill propane tanks (typically once a week)
7. Hot meal deliveries from 12-2 pm Monday through Wednesday
Financial Management
1. Maintain accurate records of all invoices and expenses in the kitchen
2. Record and file reimbursements for kitchen expenses
3. Keep and upload all local harvest invoices to shared document
4. Manage donation receipts and records
Community/Account Relations
1. Schedule and record donations, providing receipts as necessary
2. Assist in maintaining relationships with partner donation accounts
Qualifications
- Experience in inventory management and purchasing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in financial record-keeping
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
