Seeking farm & landscaping help. Responsibilities include weeding, weed whipping, planting trees / natives / medicinals, feeding plants, mixing soil amendments, nursery & watering, mulching, compost & compost teas, moving aggregate & biomass, biochar burns, gardening, weeding, trimming hedges, did I say weeding?
We are a small aloha 'aina nonprofit project on a beautiful piece of land on the north shore. Work environment is quiet, peaceful, sometimes alone and sometimes with others. I envision starting at 2 half-days each week, paid weekly. Flexible schedule. Two weeks to start as a trial period. Opportunity to expand hours and work more if it's a good fit and you desire to do so.
REQUIREMENTS:
-set a schedule with me and show up when you say you will.
-hardworking and enjoys helping the land.
-communicative with schedule conflicts, changes, etc.
-honest & trustworthy.
-ask questions when you have them, its fine if you are new at it as long as you pay attention & learn
-attention to detail.
